Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how the website known as ChoreChartEasy (“ChoreChartEasy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when adults use https://chorecharteasy.com.

1. Scope

The current Service is a free browser-based chore chart maker. It does not require an account, does not accept live payments, and does not collect early-access email addresses through the website.

ChoreChartEasy is for parents, caregivers, teachers, and other adults. It is not intended for children to use independently.

2. Local chart data

The chart maker lets you enter a nickname or initials, an age group, a chart title, task text, and completion marks. The current Service processes this chart content in your browser and stores one active draft in local storage on that device. It does not send chart content to our application servers or analytics events.

Avoid full names, addresses, school names, health information, precise locations, or other sensitive information. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see local data.

3. Data processed automatically

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, network security, and same-origin server functions. It may process IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and security or network data needed to deliver and protect the Service.

4. Analytics and consent mode

Google Analytics 4 loads in advanced consent mode. Before you make a choice, after you reject Analytics cookies, or when Global Privacy Control is enabled, Analytics storage remains denied. Google may receive cookieless measurement and consent signals, such as page paths, timestamps, technical network information, browser or device information, referrer information, consent state, and allowlisted product events, without setting or reading Analytics cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics may also set or read first-party Analytics identifiers.

Analytics events do not include names, exact ages, chart titles, task text, completion details, email addresses, account identifiers, or order identifiers. Google Signals, advertising storage, ad personalization, and cross-context behavioral advertising are not enabled by this consent flow.

5. Product feedback and support messages

The optional Feedback form sends the selected category, your message, the current page path, and submission time to our Cloudflare D1 database. It does not ask for an email address, account, child details, or chart content. Do not include names, contact details, passwords, authentication codes, children’s information, chart content, or other personal information.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. Do not send payment-card details, passwords, authentication codes, or children’s personal information.

6. Service providers

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security, network processing, Pages Functions, and related infrastructure.
  • Google Analytics 4 — cookieless website and product measurement by default; first-party Analytics storage only after acceptance.

These providers process information under their own policies. We will update this Policy before enabling another provider that materially changes the current data flow.

7. Retention

  • Active chart draft: stays in your browser until you use “Clear local data,” clear site data, or the browser removes it.
  • Consent choice: stays in local storage for up to 180 days, then the Service asks again.
  • Analytics identifiers: are used only after acceptance and follow Google’s configured expiration unless you withdraw consent or clear browser data. Withdrawing through Cookie settings denies future Analytics storage and attempts to remove first-party _ga cookies available to the site; cookieless measurement signals may continue.
  • Product feedback: kept only as long as reasonably needed to review it, improve or protect the Service, or meet applicable obligations.
  • Cloudflare network and security data: retained under Cloudflare’s service configuration and policies. We do not maintain a separate copy of chart content in those logs.
  • Support messages: kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, protect the Service, or meet applicable obligations.

8. Your choices

  • Use the free maker without Analytics cookies or submitting feedback.
  • Reject or withdraw Analytics cookie storage through Cookie settings.
  • Use “Clear local data” or browser controls to remove the active chart draft.
  • Keep the feedback reference shown after submission and email us if you want us to locate or delete that submission.
  • Email us to ask about personal information in a support conversation.

Where supported, Global Privacy Control keeps Analytics storage disabled, while cookieless measurement signals may continue. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional access, correction, deletion, objection, or appeal rights.

9. Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children under 13. Adults should supervise use, use nicknames or initials instead of full names, and keep sensitive information out of charts, feedback, and support messages. If you believe a child sent us personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

10. Security

We use technical and administrative measures appropriate to the current Service, but no website, browser storage, email system, or transmission method is completely secure. Consider shared-device access before saving a chart.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy when the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and request a new consent choice when appropriate.
