These Terms govern use of the website known as ChoreChartEasy at https://chorecharteasy.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Adult use

The Service is designed for parents, caregivers, teachers, and other adults. It is not intended for children to use independently.

2. The Service

The current Service provides free editable chore-chart starters, routine suggestions, local browser storage, random assignment, and printing tools. It does not require an account, provide cloud chart storage, or sell a paid product.

Unless a feature clearly says otherwise, chart content stays in your current browser. We do not promise cloud backup, cross-device sync, permanent storage, or recovery of local data.

3. Adult responsibility and safety

Age-grouped chores and routines are general starting suggestions, not medical, psychological, educational, developmental, legal, or safety advice. Children differ in ability and circumstances.

An adult must review every task, adapt it to the child and home, provide appropriate supervision, and exclude cleaning chemicals, laundry products, sharp tools, hot surfaces, appliances, allergens, heavy objects, climbing, or other hazards. Do not rely on the Service in an emergency.

4. Your chart content

You are responsible for text entered in the Service. Do not enter unlawful content or a child’s full name, address, school, health information, precise location, or other sensitive information.

For current local-only features, your browser processes chart content and we do not claim ownership of it.

If you voluntarily submit product feedback, you allow us to review and use it to improve or protect the Service without payment or attribution. Do not include confidential information, personal information, child details, or chart content.

5. Permitted use

You may use the free maker and generated charts for personal, household, caregiving, or classroom use. You may not:

• sell or redistribute ChoreChartEasy templates as standalone products;
• copy substantial parts of the Service to build a competing template or generator;
• bypass security controls or attempt unauthorized access;
• introduce malware, disrupt the Service, or use it unlawfully;
• misrepresent an affiliation, endorsement, or professional guarantee.

6. Intellectual property

The Service’s brand, interface, original copy, source code, and original templates are owned by ChoreChartEasy or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue free features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or recovery of browser data.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service relies on Cloudflare and uses Google Analytics in consent mode. Analytics cookie storage is enabled only after acceptance; cookieless measurement signals may be sent while storage is denied. It may link to other sites. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies, and we do not control external sites.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that every suggestion is suitable for every child, that a chart will change behavior, or that the Service will always be available.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ChoreChartEasy and the people operating it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the free Service. This limitation does not apply where applicable law does not allow it.

11. Applicable law and disputes

Applicable law and competent courts depend on the circumstances of the dispute and your location. These Terms do not override mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply to you.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date above. Continued use after an update means the revised Terms apply from that point, subject to applicable law.
